Hap Seng Consolidated Berhad donated sundries and Family Choice cooking oil amounting
to RM25,000 to aid victims effected by the floods in the northern states in West
Malaysia. Tengku Putri Intan Safinaz the Sultan of Kedah’s daughter received the
aid on 13 November 2010 at Kem 513 Askar Wataniah, Kepala Batas, Jitra, Kedah.

Irfan representing Reserve Forces Division, Ministry of Defence Malaysia, attended
the hand over of donation. Also in attendance was Dr Cheah Soon Hai the ADUN of
Derga in Kota Star, an area that was badly affected by the floods. The aid would
be distributed to flood victims who were affected by the floods in Kubang Pasu
and Kota Star District. |
