We are proud to present the Hap Seng Public Lecture Series with the purpose to promote a better informed society through sharing of information. The subject of these lectures will range from business and current affairs to science, technology, literature and fine arts.

The venue for the Hap Seng Public Lecture Series will be at the Auditorium & Convention Centre located on Ground Floor, Menara Hap Seng, Jalan P. Ramlee, Kuala Lumpur.

YB Datuk Peter Chin Fah Kui, Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities, Malaysia, delivered the inaugural lecture with the topic "Palm Oil: Food or Bio-Fuel? Policy Implications for the Future" on 17 November 2008.
