On 23 August 2008, the Sabah Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (SHAREDA) presented its inaugural SHAREDA Property Excellence Awards in recognition of six outstanding developers in Sabah for their achievements and contributions toward the property industry in Sabah.

Hap Seng Properties Development Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary in the Property Holding & Development Division of Hap Seng Consolidated Berhad, received the award of SHAREDA Property Excellence Awards - High End Residential Homes.
