Hap Seng Consolidated Berhad listed its Plantation Division as Hap Seng Plantations Holdings Berhad on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia in its Initial Public Offering on 16 November 2007. As 2 May 2008, Hap Seng Consolidated Berhad retains 51.551% ownership of Hap Seng Plantations Holdings Berhad.
Hap Seng Plantations' activities are located mainly in the Lahad Datu region in Sabah and consist of three Groups of Oil Palm Estates, namely Hap Seng Plantations (River Estates) Sdn Bhd, which comprises the Tomanggong Group of Estates and the Sungai Segama Group of Estates, as well as Jeroco Plantations Sdn Bhd and Hap Seng Plantations (Ladang Kawa) Sdn Bhd.

Hap Seng Plantations operates on one contiguous block of plantation land of approximately 36,354 hectares between Lahad Datu and Sandakan region, in addition to a smaller plantation of 1,276 hectare in Tawau. 32,752 hectares of planted area comprises 30,305 hectares of matured oil palm and 2,447 hectares of immature plantings.
Production of FFB for the 2006/2007 financial year was 768,716 metric tons. The average Oil Extraction Rate (OER) of the Division's four Palm Oil Mills was 21.87%. Overall Crude Palm Oil (CPO) production was 162,145 metric tons. Palm Kernel (PK) production for the year was 35,607 metric tons, with an extraction rate of 4.80%.
